This is one of those times of the year when I feel torn ....
.... the lead up to Valentine's Day!
I don't agree with the push from all manner of media to buy merchandise.
.... I do however, have merchandise to sell.
I don't agree with the idea of having to buy something to express your love for someone.
... I do however, have items to buy, that express love.
I don't like companies constantly advertising
This is one of those times of the year when I feel torn ....

The other day someone asked me to send them some of my light.
At first I thought, “how nice, what a lovely compliment”. However I know that if I keep sending my own light to everyone who asks, not only will I start to feel drained, but those people will never learn to shine themselves.
We all have a light within us. For some of us it may be deeper down than for others, but it IS there. Whenever you feel down or hard done by, stop and centre

I always thought I was the type of person who could put everything aside for someone who asks for my help or time. Recently I have discovered that being an empath and extremely sensitive to the needs of others, I can no longer function properly when I have put aside time for someone who hasn't been completely honest with me. It takes me a very long time to recover and to feel myself again, which also means I am not able to function properly for others who need me. I

Last week I attempted something new, as a custom order for someone who wanted me to design a pendant for them, without telling them what it was. I am so pleased with the way this Yin Yang pendant turned out. I made it in copper wire with Rose Quartz & Black Tourmaline gemstones.

This is the "Healing" card from the Numerology Guidance Cards by Michelle Buchanan (available at Amazon).
The meaning of this card for me today, isn't simply to do more healing for others, or to learn more healing modalities .... today it has a strong leaning towards the need to focus on my own

I was asked to create a rabbit pendant for a customer. She wanted to include three particular gemstones - Black Tourmaline, Purple Fluorite, and Clear Quartz.
It took me a while to draw out a rabbit shape that I was happy could be worn as a pendant, but once I worked it out, I measured out some sterling silver wire and shaped it to the rabbit design I had drawn on a piece of paper. I didn't want to simply hang the gemstones from the bottom of the pendant, so I used them as

I had a customer contact me the other day saying that every time she buys a clear quartz, the crystal either always gets lost, shatters and chips away, and never lasts. It had apparently happened to all her quartz that she had used in past years and she was anxious about using a new one, worried that it would suffer the same fate.
