Shipping / Postage & Packaging

UPDATE:  I am taking some time off.  All orders placed between midday 18th August & 18th September will be processed and dispatched after 19th September.
 


 

Wherever possible, I endeavour to post all healing products within 3 working days - Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) of receiving confirmed payment, with the exception of custom orders and items specified as "made to order" which may take longer.

Your package will include a gift box or bag for each item, and a description of the healing properties of each gemstone.  All purchases are posted in a padded envelope, or box,  for extra protection.  See Packaging (below) for more info.

I use UK Royal Mail for all shipping requirements.  A tracking number will be given for all packages.  For overseas customers, once your item has left the UK, your package will be handed over to your local postal service for delivery.

* Royal Mail offers compensation up to a maximum of £50 only for items that are lost or damaged in the mail.  If your order is over £50 and you would like it fully covered, please let me know.  I will not be held liable for any loss or damage to your goods in the post.  It is no longer my responsibility once your package has been handed over to UK Royal Mail. 


There are a number of shipping options for different destinations around the world.  You will automatically be offered the options available for the destination country you provide in your shopping cart.

Some countries have postal restrictions on semi-precious gemstones and/or jewellery.  Please check with Customs & Excise in your chosen destination before placing your order.  If you choose to go ahead with the purchase of any item(s) that are restricted, you take full responsibility for any loss or additional costs if the items do not reach their destination.

Royal Mail reviews its pricing regularly, therefore shipping prices are subject to change without notice.

UK:

UK delivery options are calculated based on the weight and size of your package for each separate delivery address.

Royal Mail offers compensation up to a maximum of £50 only for Signed For items that are lost or damaged in the mail.  If your order is over £50 and you would like it fully covered, please choose Special Delivery.

  1. Special Delivery - from £6.85:  Your order is guaranteed (by Royal Mail) to arrive at most postcodes by 1pm the following working day from the date of dispatch (excludes weekends and public holidays).  See Postcode Exceptions on the Royal Mail website.
    THIS SHIPPING OPTION IS RECOMMENDED FOR ALL ORDERS.  A signature is required on receipt.  A Royal Mail tracking number is provided with this option which offers proof of delivery and compensation up to a maximum of £500.

  2. 1st Class Signed For - from £2.85:  Please allow 1-2 working days for delivery from the date of dispatch (excludes Sundays and public holidays).
    A signature is required on receipt.  A Royal Mail tracking number is provided with this option which offers proof of delivery and compensation up to a maximum of £50.

  3. 2nd Class Signed For - from £2.45:  Please allow 2-3 working days for delivery from the date of dispatch (excludes Sundays and public holidays).
    A signature is required on receipt.  A Royal Mail tracking number is provided with this option which offers proof of delivery and compensation up to a maximum of £50.


Europe:

Royal Mail has split Europe into 3 different pricing zones.  You will automatically be offered the options available for the destination country you provide in your shopping cart.  For a full list of country destinations, please see the Royal Mail website.

EU delivery options are calculated based on the weight and size of your package for each separate delivery address.  Orders weighing over 2kg will be split into 2 packages.
 
Please note:  Brexit brought about some changes to posting packages from the UK to the EU.
Items sent from the UK to the EU are subject to VAT and duties in the EU.  Customs clearance charges and fees may now be payable in your country (see the European Commission - Taxation and Customs Union website for more information).

For EU orders over £150 in value, please contact me to discuss the best shipping option.

  1. EU Signed (S) - from £8.75:  Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery from the date of dispatch (excludes weekends and public holidays).
    A Royal Mail tracking number is provided with this option which offers proof of delivery and compensation up to a maximum of £50.  Your package will be sent by Airmail and can be tracked until it leaves the UK.  A signature is required on receipt.

  2. EU Tracked & Signed (T&S) - from £8.75:  Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery from the date of dispatch (excludes weekends and public holidays).
    A Royal Mail tracking number is provided with this option which offers proof of delivery and compensation up to a maximum of £50.  Your package will be sent by Airmail and can be tracked right up until delivery abroad.  A signature is required on receipt.

  3. EU Tracked (T) - from £8.65:  Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery from the date of dispatch (excludes weekends and public holidays).
    A Royal Mail tracking number is provided with this option which offers proof of delivery and compensation up to a maximum of £50.  Your package will be sent by Airmail and can be tracked right up until delivery abroad.

 

Rest of World:

Packaging

I try to be as environmentally friendly with my packaging as I can.

Most jewellery is presented in white recycled cardboard gift boxes, which are also reusable, and recyclable after use.  Crystal gift items are packaged in either white recycled (and recyclable) gift boxes, organza pouches, or velvet pouches, depending on the size of the item.  Pouches can be reused many times over.

All items are packaged with the healing properties of the stones that each product contains.

I am currently using up the last of my bubble-wrap padded white envelopes and am switching to eco-friendly honeycomb paper padded brown envelopes instead.  Honeycomb paper is cut in a way to add cushioning and some spring.  It is then sandwiched between layers of tough kraft paper to create a well-padded barrier for protection of your jewellery and gift items in the post.  These brown paper envelopes are made completely from paper, making them not only easy to recycle but fully biodegradable as well.

Larger orders may be packaged in brown cardboard boxes instead of envelopes.  These boxes are reusable and recyclable, while the paper tape used on them is also recyclable.

In circumstances, where your jewellery or crystal gift needs a little extra protection inside their gift box or pouch, or extra padding is required in the shipping box (to stop your items from being shaken around), I will use recycled materials that I have received from my supplier deliveries for extra padding.  You can be assured that I do not buy it for this purpose and will only reuse it this way to avoid throwing it into landfill.  Please also consider recycling it yourself.

Where I need to secure labels to boxes or envelopes, regular tape may have to be used, however this can be removed easily allowing you to recycle the envelopes or reuse the boxes yourself.
