Postage & Packaging Update

Although it was only a couple of months ago that I updated my shipping rates, unfortunately I have had to make some new adjustments for airmail to the EU and World Zones 1, 2 & 3.

I use UK Royal Mail for all my postal deliveries.

Unfortunately the Covid situation and Brexit is still causing some delays to airmail deliveries in some countries, and I have received a few complaints.  While I wish I could do something about these delays, they are really out of my control.

When you choose Standard Airmail as your shipping option, I cannot track your package.  This has always been made clear on my Shipping/P&P page and in my Terms & Conditions.  When making a claim for a lost package sent by standard airmail, the maximum reimbursement by Royal Mail is only £20.

I have fought against the idea of removing Standard Airmail as a shipping option for a long time.  I have always wanted to give my customers the choice, to help keep their costs as low as possible.  Now, however, I feel that the stress I personally feel, or is put upon me, when packages are delayed needs to be addressed.

For the moment, I will be keeping Standard Airmail as an option, however it will now only be offered in your shopping cart if the value of your order is £20 or less.
