What metals are used in Charms Of Light jewellery?
The jewellery at Charms Of Light is made with sterling silver (925), 9ct gold or 14k rolled gold. In some very rare cases, I have used Tibetan silver, which is a silver alloy made up of silver, copper and zinc. In all cases, the type of metal used will be stated in the information section for each piece of jewellery.
What currency is the jewellery price listed at?
All prices are shown in GBP £. Payment, is accepted in GBP £ only. For overseas customers, the current exchange rate will be calculated at the time of your purchase and shown with your payment details.

UK Customers: If you live in the UK, payment can be made by cheque or postal order in GBP £ only (details will be sent on completion of your order). Please note that cheques will need to be cleared before dispatch of your order - usually around 3-4 days.

How much will shipping and handling cost me?
Shipping and handling (P&P) charges include a gift box or bag, in a padded envelope, with your choice of the following postage:
UK orders: Postage within the UK will be charged at a flat rate of £2.30 GBP (no matter how many items you order) for each separate delivery address and will be sent by "first class recorded delivery". A signature is required on receipt. If you have purchased many items and/or would like your order to arrive more quickly, you will be given the option of choosing "special delivery". This will be charged at £4.60 GBP and is guaranteed to arrive by 1pm the following working day (not Saturday or Sunday). Please note: your order must be completed before 12 noon.
For UK orders, please allow 1-5 working days for delivery from date of confirmed purchase.
Overseas orders: Postage to the rest of the world will be charged at a flat rate of £6.50 GBP (no matter how many items you order) for each separate delivery address and will be sent by "airmail recorded delivery" wherever possible. A signature is required on receipt.
For Overseas orders, please allow 5-10 working days for delivery from date of confirmed purchase.
Can I have my purchase(s) sent to an address other than my billing address?
Yes. Simply complete your preferred shipping details during checkout..
Simply click on the "Add to basket" buttons to add your choices to the shopping basket. You can view your shopping basket at any time. When you have completed your shopping, click on the "Checkout" button. You can then choose to pay by cheque or with your credit card, through PayPal.
To purchase a Charms Of Light Gift Certificate, simply fill in the amount you wish to spend and the name of the person the certificate is for, then click on the "Add to Basket" button.
Can I purchase more than one of any particular item?
No. All the jewellery at Charms of Light has been individually handcrafted. Owing to the natural variations in all gemstones, each piece is unique—one of its kind, in colour, shape and design. If you see something you like, purchase it today—there will never be another exactly like it again! Of course, you can order more than one of any earring, necklace, bracelet, watch bracelet or ring design, but as all gemstones are different, there will be slight variations.
Can I purchase more than one item?
You can purchase as many different items as you like.
Can I request a piece of jewellery in my choice of design and/or gemstone?
Yes, of course. If you see a particular style you like and would like it in a different gemstone, just let me know. I would be happy to make it up for you, as long as your choice of gemstone is still available.
Do gift certificates come in set amounts?
No, you can purchase a Charms Of Light Gift Certificate in an amount of your choosing. (Gift certificates are made available in GBP £ and are not redeemable for cash).
How can I find a gemstone with the “right” properties for me?
You can read about the special qualities of specific gemstones under Gemstone Healing Properties. If you are still unsure as to which stone would best suit you, or just need a little more advice, please contact me with your request. I will try to help as best I can.
Why do some gemstones looked chipped or blemished?
All gemstones are natural occuring rock forms. The appearance of blemishes within them are all part of their natural beauty. Sometimes, the process of cutting and polishing gemstones doesn't always cover up these natural blemishes and although, in some cases they may appear chipped, they are not damaged in any way and have retained their natural healing energy.
Are my personal details kept private?
Your privacy is very important to me. Your name will never be shared with any third party and any information you send me will be kept strictly confidential.
Will wearing gemstones cure my health?
It is important to remember that healing is not the same as curing. Healing is helping the body, or mind, to become stronger and consequently better. Always see your doctor if you have nagging health problems or serious injuries—healing with gemstones complements, but does not replace, medical care when needed.
Can I receive updates on new items?
Yes, your name and email address will automatically be added to the Customer Mailing List when you have made a purchase. I send emails to all customers letting them know about new items and specials. If you would like to receive updates, just contact me with your name and email address details. If you wish to be removed from the Customer Mailing List, please contact me. I try to add new items to the website at least once a month.
